LG's prototype technology lets you bend, shape, and curve your display into almost any shape - as well as adhere to irregular surfaces like clothing and skin.

LG is supposing the future will be full of such flexible displays, and its latest rendition of the concept screen is capable of stretching up to 50% of its normal length, mainly thanks to the same material used in contact lenses.

But some limitations remain and, as things stand, this technology isn’t going to rival the kind of image quality you can get on your average smartphone. LG Display claims that the panels will deliver a high resolution of 100ppi even when stretched up to 18 inches, but that’s pretty low by modern standards.
