It’s apparent that Google is scrambling to keep its search engine relevant looking at the sudden surge of AI chatbots. Its most recent threat is OpenAI’s ChatGPT Search which is promising to bring a natural language interface with timely answers and updated query results.

You must provide a question or search query to Google by speaking into your device — and Google will provide search results in response. You can then ask follow-up questions and Google Search will update in real-time to provide relevant search results for those queries, too.

At present, checking your History on Google Chrome and the Google app can be a hassle, with information spread across different tabs. That said, with this experiment, Google is making that job easier by creating a unified spot to access both your search history and saved items.

With the rise of generative AI bots, it feels like Google's dominance in web search is under serious threat for the first time in a long time, but Google itself is busy testing new features to help users find information faster.
