The Wichita area’s first winter storm of the season is expected to be a doozy, bringing with it ice accumulation, snow and subzero wind chills. The National Weather Service in Wichita released an updated weather advisory Friday morning showing Wichita has a higher chance of receiving more snow and ice than had been forecast in its Thursday afternoon advisory.
