Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has joined an elite club by becoming the 10th Indian bowler to take 400 wickets across all formats. His remarkable achievement came during the first Test against Bangladesh in Chennai.

Ravichandran Ashwin scored his sixth test hundred as he and Ravindra Jadeja dug India's cricketers out of trouble against Bangladesh on day one of the first test.

Bangladesh were alive in the game and fighting when off-spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz troubled the Indian batters with a five-wicket haul while defending a target of just 145 runs.
