Scores of Georgia fans are in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl, and the suspect attended Georgia State several years ago.

A San Diego State University student from Florida was among those injured in the New Year’s Day attack in New Orleans. Steele Idelson, 19, was identified by CNN as a victim of the attack that killed 14 people on the crowded Bourbon Street.
