Talks for Enzo Le Fée to Real Betis have been put on hold. The French midfielder seemed destined to join the Spanish side in the coming weeks after failing to impose himself at Roma. As reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Betis had made concrete moves to bring Enzo Le Fée to Andalusia, who had already given his approval for the transfer.

Le Bris has stressed the importance of Sunderland being "accurate" in the January transfer window and signing players who will "connect" with his current squad, on and off the pitch. He believes Le Fee would be a good fit in the dressing room, and wants to strengthen his midfield department before the window closes.
