Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday, accusing him of prioritizing personal luxury over public infrastructure during his nearly 10-year tenure. Shah said that Kejriwal had built a lavish "sheesh mahal" for himself instead of focusing on essential services for the capital.

Addressing an event after inaugurating the New Delhi Municipal Corporation’s working women’s hostel, Sushma Bhavan, Amit Shah highlighted the extravagant expenditures on Kejriwal’s official residence,

The home minister said the AAP government in Delhi could not build a system to supply water to the residents, but Kejriwal spent Rs. 14 crore on a water plant for his family.

Highlighting the works done by the Central government in Delhi, Shah said infrastructure projects worth ₹68,000 crore have been executed over the past 10 years.
