A 55-gallon fuel drum placed in a campfire at a beach party exploded, injuring eight teenagers, Alaska troopers reported. The explosion took place at a party on White Sands Beach in Kodiak at 1:14 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, Alaska State Troopers said in a news release.
